The AD-71 Gate Valve is a multi-purpose on/off valve engineered for effective fluid flow isolation. Utilizing investment casting construction for its body and bonnet, this valve ensures high strength and superior surface quality. Unlike ball valves, a gate valve operates by lifting or lowering a gate (disc) perpendicular to the flow path. When fully open, the gate is completely removed from the flow path, resulting in minimal flow resistance and almost no pressure drop.
